Okay, so my full-time job, I don't get paid great, but I get all the national holidays off. How awesome.
Except, there is this dry spell. It must be what everyone else goes through normally. Having no holidays off. It sucks. I call it the waste land of MAM - March, April and most of May. Why the waste land, because there are no national holidays and it's pure torture. I'm not meant to be like everyone else. Haven't you realized yet, I'm special. I need my national holidays. Quick, someone come up with 3 new national holidays, one for March, one for April, and one for the beginning of May.
Calgone take me away. Two day weekends just isn't enough.
Come on. Can't you see the greed. Yes, I admit it. I need more days off.
Cabin fever sets in the last week of February and abate until the end of May. Sometimes, the fates are kind and cabin fever ends a week early. It's so nice, but so fleeting. Because, then the month of June is so trying. It's giving us practice to survive min-dry spell, 2nd week of July until the Labor Day in September. I love Labor Day!!! I love Columbus Day. But, I especially Love Veterans Day & Thanksgiving!!!! Two holidays in one month. I know, too much excite in such a short period of time.
National Holidays in the US - 10 wonderful days off!!!! O the joys!!!!!!!
Hope you liked my Ode to National Holidays!

------- Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference --The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain. --Dune by Frank Herbert
