Fate is the Hunter

If you ever get the chance, look for a movie called "Fate is the Hunter" staring Glenn Ford.  It is an awesome black & white movie.

Fate is the Hunter - A cup of coffee.

Look for it on TMC (Turner Movie Classic Channel)

You won't be disappointed.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Say it isn't so...Only 2 more National Holidays left then the dreaded dry spell...

Okay, so my full-time job, I don't get paid great, but I get all the national holidays off.  How awesome.

Except, there is this dry spell.  It must be what everyone else goes through normally.  Having no holidays off.  It sucks.  I call it the waste land of MAM - March, April and most of May.  Why the waste land, because there are no national holidays and it's pure torture.  I'm not meant to be like everyone else.  Haven't you realized yet, I'm special.  I need my national holidays.  Quick, someone come up with 3 new national holidays, one for March, one for April, and one for the beginning of May.

Calgone take me away.  Two day weekends just isn't enough.

Come on.  Can't you see the greed.  Yes, I admit it.  I need more days off.

Cabin fever sets in the last week of February and abate until the end of May.  Sometimes, the fates are kind and cabin fever ends a week early.  It's so nice, but so fleeting.  Because, then the month of June is so trying.  It's giving us practice to survive min-dry spell, 2nd week of July until the Labor Day in September.  I love Labor Day!!!  I love Columbus Day.  But, I especially Love Veterans Day & Thanksgiving!!!!  Two holidays in one month.  I know, too much excite in such a short period of time.

National Holidays in the US - 10 wonderful days off!!!!  O the joys!!!!!!!

Hope you liked my Ode to National Holidays!

Is Anybody really that virtuous??

Okay.  I admit it.  I'm dying with anticipation.  Come on someone.  Leave a comment.  Pleaseseeeeeeee!!!

Okay, so I should clarify.  Please leave a comment worth reading.  No spam allowed.  And, no I don't need to know that I suck as a writer.  Unless you say it much nicer than I just did.  Comments related to the blog only please.

I know, beggers can't be chosers.  But come on.  If you're going to take the time to write something, make sure it's something I'm going to take the time to actually read.  Remember - the power of the delte button!!

The waiting for someone to leave a comment is torture.

"You can't handle the truth!"  I can.  Really I can.  Just don't be crass.

Praise.  I love praise.  Who doesn't.

Suggestions.  Heck, I'm always game for improvement.

What to just say "Hi".  Well, Hi back.

Come on.  You know you want to.

"Use the Force Luke."

"Inconceivable."

PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE.

Okay, that was the last time I ever beg.  Hope you enjoyed the show.
